Advanced Golf Training at AHPGA
By Tony | January 15, 2008
This week we welcomed Skidmore College 2007 Graduate Stuart Drahota from the USA to the Australian High Performance Golf Academy AHPGA for 6 weeks of intensive high performance training.
This is the first part of the series that documents Stuart’s progress. For other parts of the series see the links under the “Categories” Menu
Stuart joins us at the AHPGA with an already impressive National Collegiate Athletics Association NCAA playing record.
Stuart was Captain and played number one for the Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs New York in 2006- 2007 where he and his team mates recorded 21 NCAA Team wins and Stuart recorded 3 individual wins.
Stuart chose Australia for his training because of the number of Australians playing and winning on the PGA Tour.
” I could see how the Australians are performing well week in week out, and decided it was time to go to Australia to find out more about their training methodologies. I want to find out some of the secrets so to speak.
I decided on the AHPGA advanced training program to educate me in how to train with high efficiency in all areas of my game and paticularly the mental game and self development.
I`m really excited about the next 6 weeks at AHPGA, bring it on!”.
During Stuart’s six weeks of training at AHPGA I will be updating and recording his progress weekly on my blog with regular photos and documented analysis here
