AHPGA Golf Junior Second at Queensland Women’s Strokeplay
By Tony | May 1, 2008
Australian High Performance Golf Academy AHPGA Junior Ellie Na finished runner up, 5 strokes behind 21 year old Victorian golfer Stacey Keating (Victoria) in this week`s Queensland Women`s Strokeplay Championship.
Ellie, (who is just 14 years of age) continues to impress for someone so young, and after the invaluable experience she gained earlier this year by being the youngest player ever (male or female) to qualify for an Australian Open and competing in the ANZ Ladies Masters, I am certain she will continue to gain in confidence.
Previously I was predominantly Ellie`s short game coach, but will now be helping her with her golf swing and long game as well. I am really looking forward to the opportunity of helping Ellie with her golf. The remainder of this year we will initiate some technical changes to her golf swing which will allow her to control the golf ball flight better in regards to trajectory control and distance control.
Congratulations Ellie on your great play from all the team at AHPGA!
