PGA Tour Q School Over for Another Year for Noteable Aussie Golfers
The PGA Tour Q School moves on to the final stage at the end of this month, where 25 players will be issued with a Tour card for the lucrative US PGA Tour season 2008.
Among the notables who failed to qualify are;
David Gossett, Mac O`Grady, Brent Geiberger, Ricky Barnes, Mark Brooks, Guy Boros, Arjun Atwal, Robert Damron and Len Mattiace.
Some of the Australian Players that have not progressed to the final stage are;
Steve Bowditch, Paul Gow, Kurt Barnes, Brad Hughes, Scott Hend, Aaron Townsend and our own Australian High Performance Golf Academy (AHPGA) student Steve Jeffress.
Steve finished T31st with rounds of 71,72,69,73 for a 4 round total of 285 (-3) on the 7003 yard, par 72 Oak Valley GC, California.It is worth noting that Steve was a combined total of 19 under for 8 rounds at this years PGA Tour Q school, and just 4 shots from progressing to the final stage.
