Steve Jeffress Wins Marobe Golf Open – PNG
After carding two rounds of 68 and 70 respectively on the first two days, Steve Jeffress has fired a final round of 66 to win the Coca Cola Marobe Open in Papua New Guinea.
Steve has been working with Director of AHPGA Lawrie Montague with his mental game over the past 3 years.
This is what Steve had to say about his final round;
“This is the type of golf course that you have to stay patient at. If you drive it well and you stay out of the trees then you can give yourself plenty of opportunities and luckily I took my opportunities when they came this week” Jeffress mentioned.
Steve now heads for Port Moresby for the Papua New Guinea Open strating this Thursday.
